About CheaterBusting: who runs it, and what it does
CheaterBusting checks publicly visible dating profiles for a person you’re worried about and sends you a private report with a confidence note on each possible match. Here’s who runs it, what it does and doesn’t do, and how a report gets made.

CheaterBusting is operated by MindCrafters LLC. It’s an independent service with no connection to any dating app or to Cheaterbuster, a separate company with a similar name. We compare a photo and details you provide with publicly visible profiles on up to 12 dating apps. We never use anyone’s passwords, devices, or messages.
Who runs CheaterBusting?
CheaterBusting is a service of MindCrafters LLC, an independent company founded by Zakaria Mehbi, who is also the editor of the guides on this site. Questions about an order, a refund, or the details you sent us go to our support team by email, and the contact page explains what to include.
Is CheaterBusting the same as Cheaterbuster?
No. Cheaterbuster is a different company with a similar name. Its terms name Magnus Technology LLC as its operator, and we have no connection to it. We can’t see, cancel, or refund a Cheaterbuster account or charge. If your statement names Cheaterbuster, contact Cheaterbuster directly.
Are you connected to any dating app?
No. We aren’t affiliated with Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, or any other dating app, and we have no special access to their systems or data. We work only from publicly visible profiles and the details you give us.
What does CheaterBusting do?
You describe the person you’re worried about and pick the apps. We look for a matching profile and write up what we find.
- You give us one clear photo and the city they live or work in. Their name, nicknames, age range, and the other places they spend time help rule out look-alikes.
- You choose from 12 named apps: Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Grindr, Badoo, Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating, Match, Raya, Tantan, and Happn.
- We check each app in their area with the same steps. The face is compared first, then name, age, and city.
- Each possible match gets a confidence note, the reasons behind it, and a list of what we couldn’t confirm. If nothing matches, the report names every app we checked.
- The report is emailed to you by a date shown before you pay: within 21 days, or within 7 days with Express delivery.
What doesn’t CheaterBusting do?
- We never ask for passwords or login codes, for any account.
- We never access phones, laptops, or other devices.
- We never read messages, emails, or chats.
- We never track anyone’s location.
- We never contact, message, or warn the person you’re checking.
- We never look people up by phone number, email, or username.
We also don’t tell you whether someone is cheating. A report shows publicly visible signals and how sure we are about each one. A match is never proof of cheating on its own, and an empty report can’t rule out a profile that was hidden when we looked.
How do we keep reports honest?
Every package runs the same checks. Packages only change how many apps we cover. Clues that agree raise our confidence, and clues that conflict lower it. Lower-confidence profiles are labeled that way, so you can see what turned up and why we held back. We don’t publish a single accuracy percentage, because accuracy changes with every search.
How does pricing work?
You pay once, and nothing renews. Essential is $119 for Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Badoo. Complete is $169 for all 12 apps. Express delivery ($39) and a 30-day re-scan ($49) are optional add-ons. If your report isn’t delivered by its guaranteed date, you get a full refund. Otherwise payments are final, including when nothing is found.
Who is CheaterBusting for?
People who want a clearer answer about a partner and would rather check lawfully and privately than guess. A report is for your own decisions. Our acceptable use policy rules out using one to stalk, harass, out, threaten, or expose anyone.
