Our checker runs the same five checks on every app: name or nickname, city, age, photo similarity, and recent activity or updates. Activity only counts where an app displays it. On Bumble, which shows no activity labels, the other four checks carry the result.

  • Tell us the city they live or work in, plus other areas where they spend time.
  • Add their name, nicknames, age range, sex, and who they’re interested in. These details help us rule out look-alikes.
  • Give us your own email address for the report. We never ask for theirs, or for their phone number.
  • See your guaranteed delivery date before you pay: within 21 days, however many apps you check, or 7 days with Express delivery.
  • Read your report. Each possible match shows what lined up, a confidence note, and what we couldn’t confirm.

We never contact, message, or warn the person, and your name is never attached to the search. We don’t ask for passwords or login codes, and we never touch their phone, accounts, or messages.

Checking yourself is free, but Hinge only shows you people whose preferences you fit, so if their profile can reach you, yours can reach them. A fake profile breaks rules like Tinder’s Community Guidelines and can turn a hard conversation into one about your honesty.

How accurate is a dating app checker?

No checker can promise to find every profile, ours included. We only see what each app shows and what you tell us. A profile that is paused, hidden, or shown only to people the member liked may stay out of sight. Incognito mode on Bumble and OkCupid works this way.

These inputs make a result more reliable:

  • A recent, clear photo where the face is easy to see.
  • Every city or area where they live, work, or spend time.
  • Their real age, or a close age range.
  • Nicknames and short forms of their name.

False matches usually come from look-alikes, common first names, or photos copied onto someone else’s profile, so one detail never decides a match.

What a confidence note tells you

Every possible match lists what lined up and what didn’t. A close face match in the right city counts for far more than a shared first name and age. When details conflict, such as the right face in the wrong city, the note says so.

What a “nothing found” report means

A “nothing found” report lists every app we checked. It means no supported match turned up during the search. It can’t prove that no profile exists, because a profile can be hidden, paused, or made after we check. The 30-day re-scan checks the same apps again a month later and sends a second report.

What your payment covers

Payments are final, including when nothing is found. If your report arrives after its guaranteed date, you get a full refund.

Is there a free way to check if someone is on dating apps?

Partly. You can ask them, reverse image search their photos, and search their name and usernames online. Most dating profiles sit behind each app’s login, so free checks rarely reach them. Our dating site lookup page lists the free methods.

Does the checker need their phone number or email address?

No. We work from a photo and their city, plus their name and age if you have them. We never ask for the person’s phone number or email address, and we don’t search by them.

How many dating apps can I check at once?

Which dating apps should I check first?

Start with any apps they used before you met, then the apps people use most where they live. If you can’t narrow it down, the Complete package checks all 12.

Does the person get an alert when I use the checker?

No. We never contact, message, or warn them, and your name is never attached to the search. The charge appears under a discreet billing name.

What if the checker finds a profile that looks old?

It may be one they forgot to delete. Tinder, for example, says removing the app doesn’t delete the account. The report notes recent activity or updates when an app shows them, so ask calmly before deciding what it means.
