Who runs CheaterBusting, and who runs Cheaterbuster?

Cheaterbuster’s terms name Magnus Technology LLC as the company that operates its website, under California law. Its About page says three technical founders started building it in 2016. It describes itself as a public records search engine that aggregates publicly available information and says it doesn’t scrape private data, hack accounts, or track devices in real time. CheaterBusting is operated by MindCrafters LLC. We built it around one question: does this person have a profile on dating apps? We share no owners, data, accounts, or billing with Cheaterbuster, and we have no partnership or licensing deal with it.

How does each search work?

Cheaterbuster

You enter a first name, an approximate age, and a likely location. Its FAQ asks for the first name only, with no last name. Its homepage says most searches complete within minutes, with results by email. A subscription covers one person and includes facial recognition search, dating app search, social analysis, and date safe monitoring, and weekly monitoring reruns the search on a schedule. Its pages don’t publish a list of the dating apps it checks. [1] [2]

CheaterBusting

You give us one clear photo and the city they live or work in. Their name and age are optional and help rule out look-alikes. We compare that photo against publicly visible profiles on each app you pick, from up to 12 named apps: Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Grindr, Badoo, Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating, Match, Raya, Tantan, and Happn. Your report arrives by a guaranteed date: within 21 days, or 7 days with Express delivery. [6]

We never ask for passwords or login codes, never get into accounts or read messages, and never contact the person you’re checking.

What does each one cost, and does it renew?

Cheaterbuster’s homepage prices a search at $19.99 plus tax. Its FAQ says current plans run as subscriptions with weekly updates, and its terms say they renew automatically at the renewal price shown at checkout until you cancel. CheaterBusting costs $119 for 4 apps (Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Badoo) or $169 for all 12, plus optional add-ons: Express delivery ($39) and a 30-day re-scan ($49). You pay once, and there’s no renewal date to track. [6]

How do refunds compare?

Cheaterbuster refunds a first purchase in full when the search finds no matching profiles, if you ask within 30 days. It also refunds technical failures, duplicate or wrong charges, and charges after a confirmed cancellation. It doesn’t refund renewals, unlocked add-ons, or a search that returned one or more matches, even if they aren’t the person you meant. [3]

We refund in full if your report isn’t delivered by the guaranteed date you saw before paying. A finished report is final, including one that finds nothing. That report still lists every app we checked. [7]

What does each report show?

Cheaterbuster’s homepage describes a full report showing every profile found, social media activity, and more, followed by monitors that send changes or updated results. Its FAQ explains two monitoring fields: Last Sync, the latest data refresh, and Last Change, the latest change it observed. [1] [2]
