What do you need to start a search?

Setup takes about two minutes, and you only pay at the end, once your details are in. The more you add, the easier it is to tell the right person from a look-alike.

• One clear photo of their face. It’s the strongest thing you can give us, because a name or age is easy to change on a dating profile and a face isn’t.
• The city they live or work in, plus any neighborhoods or places where they spend time.
• Their name and any nicknames, if you know them.
• Their age range, their sex, and who they date. These rule out people who only look similar.
• Your own email address, so we can send you the report.

We don’t look anyone up by email address, phone number, or username. We never need anything from their phone or their accounts.

Which apps can you check?

You choose from 12 named apps: Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, OkCupid, Grindr, Badoo, Plenty of Fish, Facebook Dating, Match, Raya, Tantan, and Happn. Your package depends on which ones you pick. Essential covers Tinder, Bumble, Hinge, and Badoo for $119, and Complete covers all 12 for $169. You can add two optional extras at checkout, Express delivery for $39 and a 30-day re-scan for $49. Each one is a single payment.

How does the matching work?

Every app you pick gets the same checks. On each one, we look at publicly visible profiles around the city and areas you gave us and compare them with the details you shared.

The photo carries the most weight. Someone hiding a dating profile may change their name or age, but their face is much harder to disguise. Name, nicknames, age, and area work as supporting checks. They help separate the person you’re looking for from someone who just looks a bit like them.

When a profile lines up, we write down exactly what matched:

• Name or nickname
• Age
• City or area
• How closely the photos match
• Recent activity or profile updates, when the app shows them

We then weigh those details together and write a confidence note for the match. A single matching detail means little on its own. Several details lining up, led by a strong photo match, mean much more.

When will your report arrive?

Every report is guaranteed within 21 days, however many apps you pick. Checkout shows the exact date before you pay, and if your report arrives late, you get a full refund. Express delivery costs $39 and gets your report to you within 7 days.

What’s in your report?

Your report arrives by email, written in plain words rather than technical scores.

• Each possible match, app by app, with the details that lined up.
• A confidence note on every match that says how sure we are and why.
• Anything we couldn’t confirm, stated plainly.
• When nothing matches, a “nothing found” report that lists every app we checked.

What is the 30-day re-scan?

A search shows what’s visible during the days we check, and a profile can appear later. The re-scan checks the same apps again 30 days after your report and sends you a second report. It’s an optional $49 add-on with Essential or Complete, and you can add it at checkout.

What do we never do?

• We never contact, message, or warn the person you’re checking.
• We never attach your name to the search, and your statement shows a discreet billing name.
• We never ask for their passwords or login codes.
• We never touch their phone or other devices, and we never read their messages.
• We never hack accounts or track where someone is.
• We never charge you again. You pay once, and nothing renews.
